These are original Oil Paintings and Giclée Prints of the American Wilderness and the animals that inhabit it.
This is my latest work.
The images you see here were developed after a lifetime of loving "the ride", a whirlwind of creative energy, and some picture taking by yours truly. The images, all taken from photographs, were digitized in Photoshop, rendered with a filter called crosshatch, and then transferred to wood. In a process I coined digital woodcut back in grad school, i then cut each wood panel anywhere from a few thousand to over 40,000 times. The wood was then sealed, inked, and run through a press. The results are almost photographic when viewed from a few feet away.
These are some of my latest photographs which I am working on their painted renditions of. Check back in new work soon as work gets finished.
